Nearing the end of 2008

Well,before I start off with today's posting, I would like to wish everyone Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Hope next year will be a much better one for all of us.

Counting down the days, I suddenly realized that I left only 2 days to spend at home as my lecturer asked me to go back the campus at the first week of the new year which will be 5th of Jan. This weekend I will be in Muar, Johor for my cousin's wedding and right after that I'm off to China for the count down of new year. Actually my China trip was confirmed 2 weeks ago with a purpose of going back to ancestorial hometown. Haha.... I finally got the chance to 'Hui Xiang'... :)

This is so wrong when I found the link of www.chikipedia.com after reading one of my friends' blog. Well done Mr Yeap, you had me grinning by the comment of Misa Campo. After googling it, the description I received was Chickipedia is the world's largest web-based, women-based, wiki-based database of hot chicks on the planet. XD

im a weirdo

it's 5.04am n im still in cafe using wireless blogging while waiting for my team members to finish up their work for the plant design project (FYDP). it sucks actually have to stay up till so late for juz a report but the due date is on monday and we onli have 36 hours more to complete it before kena kau2 again from the lecturers.  tomorrow is the starting of study week n for chemical eng student, there will b a presentation on fyp next week with juz 7 days to prepare for dumping all that we have absorbed these 14 weeks in the final exams tat last for a duration of 2 weeks. wish me luck~~~~~~~~~

sunday night

The people surrounding me used to ask me this question: "eh when you wanna start dating a girl?? your who-who also started dating with his/her friends d? when is ur turn?" I start to wonder, how to reply all these questions, do they think that girlfriend is sth tat u walk down the street and ask any girl: "hey do u mind to become my girlfriend?" and it's on! If it is tat simple, I bet no one will be like me sitting in the room typing all these entries. XD 

Mayb Im just thinking too much or mayb this is the world. Wateva may come in the future, I will face it!!! >.<

previous clubbing exp

25th sept was the last time I went down to a club and this time we visited Rum Jungle in Tambun. 3 of us: fu shen, nagen and I were there just for a drink before we part ways for our mid semester break and we met other UTPians there for the last night partying before the mid semester. Among the places I've been so far, this can be labeled as the top club right up till now. 

Don't be mislead by the above picture, I was being 'molested' by this macha even before we started to drink. Can you even imagine it???

It was a crazy night tat fills with fun. Glad to have this bunch of friends around these years. :)

happy holiday

It's 4.30am now n I'm still half awake drinking to special coke I made myself while following the up-to-date results on the European Champions League. Tomorrow is a holiday for Malaysian but I doesn have any holiday mood as work burdens literally sapping the energy force from my body. God please take away these burdens, I need my life as a single and available 22 year old lad. =D

14 months ago

14 months in a person's life is not a very long time duration, for a 22 yo chap like me, 14 months is just approximately 5% of my life time up till now. But 14 months ago, it was a critical period in my lifetime as my grandmother who had look after me since I was young passed away due to cardiac failure and at that time I was planning to go to Sabah with Fu Shen, Chee Fai, Edwin and the rest.

My grandmother followed her husband come to Malaysia during the British colonization period as a merchant and settled down south of Peninsular in Muar. I still remember I did not even cry during her funeral although my heart was sliced into pieces thinking the one that cares me and loves me will not be ever present again when I go back to Muar the next time. Just like Hiyawu mentioned in one of his book: The coffee shop in the 6th street I got no more excuses to go to Muar anymore.

Malaysia: Tanah Tumpah Darahku

I found out that Malaysia is such an adorable country in these few years. From the video chaos by Wong Chee Meng, video chaos of Dr. Chua to the political crisis in 3rd March 2008 n the recent Penang racial statement, yet we still leave under 1 roof happilly (juz a skin depth to show the foreigners tat Malaysian is a muhibah country).

During the by-election in Permatang Pauh, Penang, I was amazed by how Anwar Ibrahim convey his msg to the public in his speech but my heart sank till the bottom of the earth core when I heard Datuk Ahmad Ismail said that the Malaysian Chinese are juz immigrants who are not supposed to have the equal rights as the Malay bumiputras.

Staying in this country where there's unequal population density of races, I have to be very careful with my words as the ISA will have every right to send my sorry ass right into jail if I said or do anything that is not music to the ears of the goverment. Anwar was sent into jail, Lim Kit Siang was sent into jail, Hindraf leaders were sent into jail and I wish that I would not be the next opposition leader in future. :)

Kenny Sia, Malaysia celebrity blogger had commented on the recent Penang situation as you all can have a look of his post here. Tun Dr Mahathir, the previous Prime Minister has commented about the happenings in his own blog which u all can find it here and also here.

Hopefully Malaysia still b a big happy family in the future.

wat a weekend

It's friday night finally. Juz had my reservoir engineering test earlier this afternoon (3-4pm) n to tell the truth, I think my over-confidence had made me stumbled hard on to the ground as I completely had no idea on how to do 1 question which carries 15 marks out of the 25 for the whole paper. When the clock finally ticked at 4pm, my nervousness n the sweaty palm had been blown away from my mind as i could not care more. What is done is done, u cant actually do anything more about it, that's wat my heart told me. Although disappointment filled my heart n grasped my breathing oozing out every living motivation from my soul, I had to keep my head up and walk down the journey with confidence.

I hoped that this guilty feeling will get pass asap. :)

tardy tardy friday

Thank God Is Friday... n it is the tardy tardy friday of mine..Since I was awake, I practically hvn touch my cultural anthropology notes although the test is on next monday, juz hogging the internet doin sth else rather than the research for my plant design project. Luckily my matlab programming finished yesterday night b4 I even started on the D.O.T.A (a taboo for all the students tat study). seriously, dunno wat happen to me. I used to be a 'good' student(I always do my assignments by my own k!), till now the tardy Sim Poh Kiat, it was actually the totally different world d. No wonder when i met my friends in the PC fair in KLCC recently, they can't even recognize me. Aih~~~~

Saturday is coming soon, god bless tat I am able to finish the scope for the test soon. (crossing my fingers...)

end of 5th week

well, as Friday is my unofficial holiday (no class on Friday), today will b the end of my 5th week of the 14 weeks for this semester. usual thing happens daily, go class, meet the GA who is assisting me in my final year project while I assists him in his project (data calculations), watch criminal minds, chat a bit here n there till the end of the day. SERIOUSLY, life in uni not as challenging as the working life experienced during the internship.

NO MORE AFTER 8, NO MORE HANGING OUT, this sux... I starting to reminise about the good ol days during the internship d.. aih~hopefully I can finish this final year without any extention la.. (crossing my fingers ^^)

3rd week

well, it seems like the 3rd week ending soon n the final year project a.k.a the hellish fyp reports dateline is drawing nearer day by day. crap, n i still plays Monopoly Here And Now edition for 2 and a half hours. (aih....)

on sat im goin down teluk batik to relax relax n will b having bbq down there. hope it will b fun, will update after the event. GO JULY 04!! stay strong, stay alive. :)

start of the new sem

yahoo, it's the start of the new sem (eh, it's already the 2nd week of the sem??). well, this will b my final year in utp (hopefully) and with the fyp n the fydp all flooding in and haunting my mind, i guess it wont b an easy year for me tho. due date to meet, supervisors to entertain, classes not to be missed, assignments, tests and final exams, who the hell said tat uni life is a lepaking life??

timetable was ok but i dun think there is time for me to rest lor. based on the meeting yesterday for the fydp, i guess ill be the kuli n they will b the ones tat shakes leg throughout the year. aih, who can help me with the plan design? i promise i will treat u a decent meal. :P

is it over yet??

wow, my intern has been extended for another week. to tell the truth, me myself do not know either should i be happy or should i be sad. happy because this extension will occupy my free time as i got nth to do back at home but the thing tat drives me crazy is the host company did not inform me hows the pay will be for my extension as my TRAINEE agreement ended last friday.

solution's life

I found this pic tru google search n it fits very nicely when u ask me to describe one of the managers in Solution Engineering (a.k.a Suckers Enterprise). He will send u to a place to work ur ass off n he's off to enjoy sucking his rod (sure fishing rod la, duh?!). He will drive u up the walls till u have the urge to say "Tiu la, he thinks he knows everything. Explain to him also dun wanna accept, f**k him la". I personally thinks he's employed to make sure tat the employees wont stay long enough in the company for any humongous pay rise n kicks the shit out of the company. (well, juz personal views. jgn sue aku, aku tak de duit... :))





i think the fishing guy would like my purposal if i would to purpose a thing to be installed in the pantry... introducing the brilliant idea to make the fishing guy happy














i met a bitch in solution which his relatives had caused a major accident to the traffics n the relatives r commonly found in rural areas in Malaysia n r worshipped as the godness by the Indians. lazy as their nature, juz eating grass n produce meat n milk which onli b drank by his closely knitted other half, he had caused major person to person communication with most of us. thank god he will b having the last 3 days in Suckers Enterprise including tomorrow. :)
