bye bye 2007 hello 2008!
looking back at 2007, there r inevitable mixture of feelings in everyone's heart im sure. festive seasons, sending the space traveler up with other astronauts from countries like USA, the campaign lead by BERSIH, HINDRAF, and the law body had made an impact in our daily life. began to wonder wats wrong with Malaysia, be it the government's fault or the wrong doings by the public. Tun M. said that this nation is a democratic nation, if u dun like the way of the government doing things, dun vote for it and vice versa. It is quite true tho as everyone is eligible to vote for their ideal political parties once they reach the age of 21. so think carefully n observe b4 u vote!!
yesterday went down the laundry for the just one more party n to my surprise, there r malays in pubs also, drinking up like nobody else will care. the party ends with great fireworks display n 1 of the working staff told me tat is the greatest ever countdown party he had been so far. in the countdown party, met up with some of the uni mates, namely fireangel, oonlam, chee kang, seang yik, melvin and alan. do meet up sometime ya. :)

democratic or autocratic
autocratic or democratic?? it's up to u guys to decide.. after all this is a 'fair n just' country
it's time
u would never heard of this when Datuk M was ruling, u wont even heard of one of the minister suggesting "giving the mat rempits a brand new bike to catch the snatch theives in collaboration with the police force." this seriously hit me right on my face n send me wondering y is this happening to us right now? wat happened to malaysia nowadays. to "rempit" is an offence, not sth to be proud of. not sending them to face judgement, be it traffic summons or few months jail for the hard cores, but to build a track or giving them a new bike? my inner self was like "WTF??", well of course I can't say it loud, or else someone will man-marked me n send me to the deepest misery. do the government knows how much they need to spend on building a race track with all the contractors providing them first-class price n 5th class quality piece of work? if the race track seriously is built(which now is not), then the government either sending in a huge pile of cash to maintain it or let it be another white elephant like some other sports complexes.
another thing is once the race track project is on, then we can expect more n more mat rempits each day by the road side. reason? "aku nak gi join org2 kat race track tu, nak training jap." or "nak try true feeling sebelum gi try true racing."

Starting XI
Wenger - My problem with player quotas
By Richard Clarke
Arsène Wenger believes quotas on foreign players are a thing of the past.
The issue has hit the headlines again after Fifa president Sepp Blatter proposed starting XIs be restricted to just five overseas stars in order to nurture home-grown talent. Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has lent his support to the idea.
However Wenger argues that the global nature of modern football has made such restrictions obsolete and, crucially, he suggests the influx of foreign players raises — not lowers — standards in England.
“I always felt that sport rewards quality and does not hide behind artificial rules,” he said ahead of the Champions League tie at Slavia Prague.
“If you put the level of the class down, it does not necessarily make the bad students better. It makes them worse.
“To compete with the best players in the world is a chance to improve your level. In Europe we are very rigid and difficult to move forwards because we are all [different] countries and are a bit conservative.
“But if you organise a golf tournament people go to watch Tiger Woods, whether that is in Scotland or anywhere else. When you go to Wimbledon, you want to see Roger Federer.
“That is what people want today. The world has moved. People demand to see the best in the world and you cannot get them to watch a level down anymore.”
I agree with wateva wenger juz said. a person will onli flourish when they feel pressure and in order to have the attention tat they r seeking, they have to strive hard to get it. The simplest example, Thomas Elva Edison, a person tat I believe no one will claim tat they do not know this person especially in this modern world of technology. Being labeled as a annoying brat by the teachers in school, he strived hard to obtain the knowledge tru his mother who is home-schooled him after he was dismissed from the official school. He doesnt give up on experimenting after his hearing senses were taken away by train conductor's struck after his chemical lab was caught fire in a carbox. Thousands n thousands of materials he tried b4 he successfully found the element for the long lasting light bulb tat will burn for "hundreds of hours" even though his lab partners were all half hearted in the middle of their research.
Another example will be a little bit unheard to the public unless u all know arts very well. Vincent van Gogh, a dutch post-impressionist. Mayb some of u had heard bout the tales of his, but for general information, van Gogh had cut off his left ear ear lobe and had halucinations after the breakdown in his friendship with Paul Gauguin. From then onwards, he had painted several world renowned piece of art namely the Potrait of Dr Gachet, The Starry Night, Still Life with Absinthe and others.
Wat if Thomas Elva Edison and Vincent van Gogh did not pick themselves up from the fall n continue their journey? mayb we wont have florescent light tube, dun have Potrait of Dr Gachet tat sells at 82.5 mil USD n went missing after tat, dun have sound recorder and dun have modern impressionism drawings. Same as the footballers, dun b happy juz because u r in 2nd team hopping tat sepp blatter's wish to impose the players quota will come true n sit there waiting for the good news. If tats the case, I would recommend u to go become the water boy of the team. Try hard, prove urself to the manager tat u can be better than the foreigners. Show some effort, no more sitting there waiting for luck fallin down from the sky.. :)

quotes from the football world
Arsenal manager
"It depends where you're looking from - whether you're on the beach in the summer and you're concerned about the national team, or it's Saturday and you're at Chelsea or Arsenal. You can't have it both ways.
"We benefit as individual fans because we see world-class players. But the price for that is that the national team is suffering."
David Gold, Birmingham City Chairman
another loser comment from man u boss
if anyone of u r up to date with the news of football, u definitely will know tat the england fifa had asked each n every club to impose a foreign quota tat limits onli 5 foreigners to play in their start up 11 way back weeks b4, mayb even b4 man u beat chelsea down to 2-nil. the problem is y alex ferguson din voice out his support to the "brillian" idea from the fifa by then but now. is it because he felt the pressure from the gunners? or juz a sudden liking to the idea of the foreign quotas. lets face it, manchester united also had their own squad of foreign players although the manchester academy is producing some local talents for the future, like chris eagles. the list of foreign players tat currently serving the red devils will be as below:
1) Edwin Van Der Saar (Goalkeeper) - Holland
2) Patrice Evra (Defender) - France
3) Christiano Ronaldo (Winger) - Portugal
4) Anderson (Forward) - Brazil
5) Luis Saha (Striker) - France
6) Ryan Giggs (Midfielder) - Wales
7) Park Ji-Sung (Midfielder) - South Republic of Korea
8) Nemanja Vidic (Defender) - Serbia
9) Nani (Winger) - Portugal
10) Gerard Pique (Defender) - Spain
11) FangZhou Dong (Striker) - China
12) John O' Shea (Defender/Midfielder) - Republic of Ireland
13) Johnny Evans (Defender) - Northern Ireland
14) Darren Fletcher (Midfielder) - Scotland
15) Mikeal Silvester (Defender) - France
16) Darron Gibson (Midfielder) - Northern Ireland
17) Carloz Tevez (Striker) - Argentina
18) Tomasz Kuszczak (Goalkeeper) - Poland
19) Craig Cathcart (Defender) - Northern Ireland
20) David Gray (Defender) - Scotland
(Information from www.manchesterunited.com-the official website for manchester united)
now the start up 11 of man u consist of of van der saar, giggs, evra, ronaldo, tevez and vidic which to be exact is 6 foreigner players in the start up 11. even in the last arsenal man u clash, anderson also played in th starting 11 which makes it 7. is it sir alex ferguson failed his math since elementary level or wat?? there's no point talking about supportin the idea of foreign quota if u r not following it or rather onli supporting it after the effort given by ur team was flushed down the toilet bowl after the wenger's team enjoyed it.
Think before you act, Sir Alex Ferguson. Dun think by just using your lower half of the body.
P.S: sorry la ruud_away, I am a noob in football mah. hope u like it. peace.. :)

pekerjaan atau perbuatan???
kalo ada, aku tak kisah tuk menjadi salah satu drpd penonton-penonton vcd lucah yg leh menerima gaji bulanan sambil goyang kaki. senangkan? tonton vcd saje, takyah pikir susah2 ttg plant design ke, process dynamics ke, tau engineering econs. tak yah buat planning, tak yah pergi konference, tak yah berhimpit-himpit dgn org lain masa nak pengangkutan awam pergi kerja. hanya kena ada satu tv, biar dia sama ada lcd ke, plasma ke tau crt screen, dgn vcd player. kalo nak sound effect, pakai je sound system yg canggih2. kerja ni tak yah keluar dr rumah, tak yah bayar lebih tuk pangangkutan, mungkin je kena bayar tuk snek2 masa menonton. lebih menguntungkan dr pergi pejabat mematikan sel2 otak memikirkan meeting dgn design, lagipun kena pressure dr bos2 yg hanya tau ttg golf dgn cigar je.
biarlah bahasa anda tepat sebelum anda memberi nasihat kpd org lain. takkan nak bagi nasihat anda sbg bahan lawak je kan? berikutnya petikan yg aku dpt dr ruud_away.
"Soalan:
Saya selalu melakukan perkara-perkara maksiat seperti menonton vcd lucah dsb.

the most champion driver i'd ever met
after the duta toll, i was half way asleep till a sudden bad feeling woke me up. the bus had steered its path into jln ipoh instead of jln duta which means extra miles to be covered as the driver has to make a u-turn somewhere n this also means extra time wasted. looking out of the bus anxiously, the bus drove to a housing estate n u wont believe me wat i will say next. THE BUS DRIVER MADE A 3 POINT TURN AT ONE OF THE JUNCTION IN THE HOUSING ESTATE. wow... truly shocking at tat moment, who will be sure tat no pedistrian wont get hurt when the bus driver is performing this truly magnificent skill... but this is not the most champion part yet... after making the 3 point turn, the bus headed towards the duta bus station n we thought tat nth much will happen after tat but reality proved us wrong. the bus driver went up the fly-over n he quickly realized tat he was on the wrong side of the road to get to jln duta bus station. wat he did was HE REVERSE ALL THE WAY DOWN THE FLYOVER N JOIN BACK WITH THE OTHER COUNTERPARTS WHICH ALSO HEADING TO JLN DUTA BUS STATION. luckily there were no accidents occured but curses were heard when the bus was reversing.. too bad i was in the bus n not equipped with any filming devices, or else u all should have a good laughter out of it..

a crazy week
enough of fun n joy, lets get back to work. as etp is drawing closer and closer to the pre-edx a.k.a the final evaluation of the prototype b4 it will be choosen among the other 91 projects to be 1 of the 30 finalist to go in Engineering Design Exhibition (EDX). my group had come up with the idea of having a slide show, movie and finalized with the prototype for the pre-edx presentation not forgetting the A1 sized poster designing. being more well equipped with movie maker, i volunteered myself to be the 'director' and the working crew behind the short 2 mins of video tat we presented for the edx. on friday, preps were done 3 hours earlier b4 the presentation n it did go on well within satisfactory. :)
now, im back in kl relaxing my fatigue body n mind... looking for movie kaki... :)

Thx Jose Mourinho n fak england FA
England FA, a corrupted body I can say. For an instant, carlos teves was forced to leave west ham when fergie stated his intention of transfering him to man u after seeing his performance. Although west ham refused to let him go but in the end, 'pop' tevez appears with the red devils n bearing the jersey numbered 32. When the season starts, west ham manager told the press that FA is siding man u as FA approves the transfer of tevez from the hammers to the red devils with juz a blink of the eye while to replace the lost of the striker, west ham had face lots of obstruction to sign in an Argentine player whose name I had forgotten.
Bet all the man u fans watched the match of the Man U - Chelsea right? if u do think tat man u deserved to win tat match, kiss my ass n give fergie the pleasure by offering urself. Saha excuting a frog jump in between the 2 defenders with the slightest contact I have seen so far n yet he got a penalty kick while rooney delibrately pushed down A.Cole when he's fighting for a ball n he managed to go away without a card or a verbal warning. SHAME ON URSELF, MAN U FANS. MAN U players r no more professional since they can play whichever way they wished to since the whole england FA is standing behind them giving them support.

tomorrow ill b heading back to uni for another adreanaline rush by the assignments, projects and not forgetting the ENGINEERING TEAM PROJECT!!! oh gosh, talking bout the engineering team project, which in short the etp, i kinda getting some headache. i was forced to say goodbye earlier juz to meet up the supervisor n settle down everything although there r already 2 members in the uni shaking their leg comfortably. once everything was being settled down, the real work begans. paper works on the project, enquiry on this n tat, meeting up with who who who n thinking bout the budget sent me head blasting off to the moon. (well literary)
besides the etp, next sem ill b goin for my internship, which means another paper work to b settled off. to tell the truth, i had juz realised how sweet it is to b able to relax without any burden on my back. but once i step foot in uni tomorrow, piles of work will accompany me throughout the night, no more weng keat n co, ai ai, pei ting, mei ling, mei yien n seow li(juz to name a few. to those tat not in the list, u r always in my heart. :p)
this weekend i relaxed myself back at kl, attended seow li's party 6 hours ago, sleep the whole afternoon tru n went for window shopping at metro prima jusco. u wont b able to guess who i met during the shopping tour. lolx....

Constitution of Malaysia
according to the news, the Perak Crown Prince had plead all the students, the successor of the country to read up the Constitution of Malaysia in order to strengthen the bond between the citizens of Malaysia. Malaysia is celebrating his 50th Independence Day by this 31st August, yet the citizens of Malaysia r getting more n more isolated from each other races. pasted will be the link of the Constitution of Malaysia:
http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Constitution_of_Malaysia
Constitution of Malaysia is the lighthouse to guide the ships in the dark, the teachers to the students, furthermore the parents of the child. yet the politicians r not reading them up, law enforcers playing a fool with it n most of the citizens does not even bother about it. PLS READ THEM UP.. IT'S NOT A VERY TEDIOUS WORK!!! rather than wasting time in front of the computer chit-chatting or surfing for useless materials, click on the link above. bond between the races in Malaysia is juz a click away~~~~~~
happy 50th years merdeka, malaysia
to those that knows chinese, this is a very good post. to those tat dont know, can freely ask ur frens to translate it.
a mini summary of the post: malaysian government had been dumping more than millions into the sea as they provide scholarships to those tat cant even speak english fluently, dunno which states tat connecting malaysia with thailand, dunno tat parliment is being divided into 2 sections, yet they r the ones tat happily took over the scholarships tat r meant for the deserving ones coming back from overseas with a degree in fields such as medicine, engineering n business administration. is the government planned to send all these "creme de la creme" to face the world, leading the world into disaster? wat do u think when one of these "creme de la creme" attending a world conference in medical field for example. leaving this aside, i believe tat all the blog readers still remember tat our malaysian football team had scored extraordinary in the asian cup with a devastating defeat of malaysian 0-5 iran and malaysian 1-5 china. wat happened to those glory days where malaysian football team is one of the top in Asia with Soo Jun Onn, Sathu Singh and their comrades leading the team to shine in the eyes of the world?
24 July 2007
a freaking long post
first off, right after the reaction engineering finals, i rushed back to kepong to start off my holidays while most of my mates starting off their holidays by staying back in the uni n either playing starcraft n dota or juz simply linger around the campus compound chilling off. met ai ai on the first sunday which led to the knowing of pei ting's company a.k.a the Nomad Adventure is organizing Living Planet Expedition. (futher details i had posted up in the previous post)
not long after the end of the Living Planet Expedition, I went down Muar with my family for the first time after a huge time gap in between current visit n previous visit. :P Muar is a good place for food. Varieties of food ranging from otak-otak, fried oyster, pear juice, mi siput n etc will send u mouth watering with the fantastic aroma. those tat reading this post, get a fren from muar n start off ur food craving spree..
ok, after spending a night in Muar, we had decided to move our ass back to KL, a paradize of night clubs, pubs, shopping arenas, n congested traffic. but i din enjoy much time in KL b4 the uncles in Muar gave the bad news of grandma being warded in Hospital Pakar Sultanah Fatimah. my 2nd trip to Muar lasted longer than i had imagine, staying there 4 days taking care of grandma when all my uncles r bz with their daily job. when the situation had turned better, i on my way back to KL after the doc had assured us tat there is nth to b worried about on my grandma's condtion.
however human anatomy is the strangest thing in the world, 2 days after im on my way back to Muar for the 3rd time after receiving the news tat grandma was in critical stage. this time, i spent more time to accompany grandma since im still having my holidays n there's nth for me to do. i canceled off my plans to have holidays in sabah with shen, jackie, etc knowing tat it wont b a good time for me to walk off juz like tat. on the 30th june, grandma had been called back by the Maker.
days had been gloomy since then while we bz preparing for the funeral. we felt the lost of sth important in our life although we know that there's no turning back of this. the onli thing we hoped for is tat she will have great happiness in the afterlife.
13th, July- the former schoolmates of SMKB had gathered around to celebrate Mei Ling's birthday after few years of seldom contact. great fun, good food, n most of all, the friendship between us still can be seen during the party. it was an enjoyable evening hangout with the frens.
on the next wednesday, i started my journey back to uni at 930am to settle the engineering team project. reached at 3pm n was informed tat the meeting with coordinators were at 330pm. haha, without doin much of cleaning the room up, i rushed out to meet up the rest of the team members n the coordinator so tat we still have the last chance of choosing the theme for the project. since then, the holidays had ended for me.. ;(
03 June 2007
living planet expedition 07
we reached there slightly earlier than the requested time n started off with the setting up of station games. this is the first time im helping out nomad adventure in their projects while some of my frens had been very familiar of how the nomad staffs run the projects n some other mini minor things in handling the event. i had been appointed as the person-in-charge of the station n at tat moment when i got to know it, i was petrified. it wont b an easy event as there r more than 40 teams involved n each team consists of 5 person which make up to 200 person running, yelling, n start to get crazy when the event started. since i quit my job at june 04, i had never handled so large group of ppl running around me asking for directions n stuff.
after some 4 hours of playing around with the participants, the curtain finally falls n the event came to the end. draggin all the beaten-up body, i was too tired to carry on somemore n luckily my final task was to submit the results of each team which is piece of cake.(how difficult when it comes to results submission when u juz need to pass the results to the management team n tats it, bye bye..lolx) we din wait till the results being announced as we cant afford to let the energy drained off from our body futhermore. it was a fun day job n nice getting all the marshals from all over kl n selangor area. haha
p.s.-get to know this event from ai ai. remembered had blogged bout the very rare occasion which i met ai ai once i got back to kl.. thx for inviting. :P

tadaima~~~~~~~~~~~~
today was the-full-sleeping- day for me as for the past 2 weeks, i merely got more than 5 hours worth of deep sleep hours burning my midnight oil trying to figure out all those texts n equations especially for the rxn engineering sub tat had drove more than half of my class went crazy over the lab reports. was screwed by the general assistant of the rxn eng lab after he viewed my group's lab report during the viva session. "how certain r u tat we can fully understand the content of this report as there was no bla-bla-bla???""how r u goin to explain to us tat how u came out with this findings?????""where is ur discussion about this part of ur findings??? i cant c any of it...(voices trailed off)" it had been the most terrible 45 mins of my sem since i enrolled into utp but it also had been the most educating 45mins of my sem. my fren once said:"dun call it a mistake, call it a lesson" imagine the g.a. din screw me n my group now, this mistake will be done in the later stage of the study time n even the working life. come on.... my future is a chemical engineer(tho mayb end up b a admin officer in some eng faculty.. but who cares.), i will b responsible for the welfare of the ppl surrounding me regarding to chemical safety or hazardous chemical processes. if u as the employer, will u still b interested in hiring me if i submit a finding report with certain parts left out or not giving some explanations??? if ur ans is yes, i will certainly interested in work in ur company. :)
tomorrow will spend 4 days 3 nights in the national garden in pahang for some time off n getting closer to the mother nature with some of my uni frens. will get back to update this blog on wed. cya by then

post valentines entry
there was once the idea of buying dinner for my uni mate crossed my mind but with other factors affecting my decision, i finally called it off n decided to date with my separation process lab report(wat a wonderful partner for the night). the lab report had been settled yesterday itself n i'd made some quick calls to the travel agencies which i kept in my contact list enquiring about the itenary for kota kinabalu.. after 20 years, now onli i be able to step foot on mount kinabalu... pity this poor guy...looked up for certain websites for the details of kota kinabalu's attraction while discussing with fu shen bout the trip as we not certain the attractions tat we planning to pay a visit to...

11 February 2007
a weekend
besides goin back for the ceremony n reunion, actually i was supposed to pick up 2 things for my frens which in the end 1 ffk-ed me n the other 1 was passed to the other fren of mine. saved my time travelling n money for public transport squeezing like a can of sardines in the ktm compartment. :P coz the fella said COD in kepong area n i was like hmmmmm, i can get it for u provided is in kepong area which turned out the trading area is to be in serdang ktm station... sweat... went back to school for the event n was amazed by the number of students tat turned up for tat day. 6 other schools joined for the performance night n tonnes of food were served (although it's normal), games were played, n most of all, calligraphy contest was also held on tat day. how i wished the event can be done in my days, thx to the principal n the co-cu advisor tat time, it's a no-no for us... darn!
8pm went over to ai ai's place for a simple bbq (very simple indeed, onli 6 of us including the host herself...^.^) stories were shared, n tales were told. n HAPPY BIRTHDAY JING WERN!!! tho im not sure tat the bbq was purposedly made for u or wat but u had turned 21 by this year, n u had the voting power d... remembered wat we said tat night.... :)
gonna pen off now..too tired to focus on other things..lolx. cya in next post

a short wrap up for the first week of sem reopen
tuesday was the most relaxing day for the chemi 2nd yr 2nd sem as there is onli an hour lecture for the whole day. after 9, i headed to the basketball court with derrick, james n william for practicing my aiming n power...-__-" played under the hot sun till i became groggy b4 i headed back to rest up... nth much up to for tuesday as it had bcome the most boring day of the week.
wednesday all the uni students enjoyed the half day lecture hours as after 2 the remaining of the day had been allocated for co-cus, meeting up with lecturers, rectors n prog heads for discussion. nth much happened on wednesday as i had addicted to babo violent 2 for a change.
friday went for futsal in menglembu sports planet futsal center on fu shen's n jason's invitation. was realised tat i din have the actual stamina for the game as after 1 hour of playing, my inhalation rate had increased. feasted with ipoh's famous taugeh chicken after the game b4 head back to UTP.
woke up after 4 hours of sleep on sat as im goin to gua tempurung for the 3rd time with uni frens after the breakfast in tronoh market. the package the organiser choosed is top of the world n river cruising which i had enjoyed it once with my parents. after the gua tempurung trip, we went all the way to kampar for lunch. settled in kam ling restaurant for the curry chicken bun n i shopped for kam ling restaurant's chicken biscuit.... yummy...^.^ headed to ipoh stret after lunch for movie n we decided to watch blood diamond by leonard dicaprio as danny archer, djimon housonas solomon vandy and jeniffer connelly as maddy bowen. the 7 of us did really enjoyed the storyline as it revolves around the world poorest continent, africa n the abundant natural resources in tat continent. diamond, the precious stone crazed by women n men had lead to the disaster in african countries as the mine slaves were under the ruling of some iron fists. the movie is a worth-watching film although the duration is 2 hours ++ with parts tat introduce boredomness but there r certainly actions n conflicts in between the film. returned back to UTP aroun 1030pm n to my realize, we were out for 15 hours....wow...^.^ went out for man u vs portsmoth match with a tired body to watch a superb goal by wayne rooney which earned them the ticket for the next round.
today woke up at 1pm... sweat... watched guess3 in order to clean up my hdd for extra places to keep more stuffs...

PUTRAJAYA: One-third of students who graduated from public universities last year have very low English language proficiency.
In fact, 29.2% of the 120,000 graduates scored Bands One and Two in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET), which identifies them as “Extremely Limited User” and “Limited User” respectively.
Higher Education Minister Datuk Mustapa Mohamed, who revealed this yesterday, said the situation could not be ignored as the figure was too high.
“This is why we have asked universities to ensure their students' proficiency is improved. This will be done through the introduction of the Soft Skills module at all public universities,” he said after delivering his New Year message to ministry staff.
Mustapa said the vice-chancellors' committee had recently recommended that the ministry make it compulsory for students to score at least a Band Three before they graduate from university.
Under MUET, students are classified according to six bands or levels of achievement from Very Good User (Band Six) to Extremely Limited User (Band One).
“We have turned down the request as this would not be fair to students, particularly those from rural areas,” he said.
When MUET, which tests Listening, Speaking, Reading Comprehension and Writing skills, was first introduced, it was made compulsory for students enrolling in public universities to take the test. However, they did not have to “pass” it to gain entry.
A public university official said his institution organises intervention programmes in English for students who enter the university with MUET scores of Bands One and Two.
“These are really intensive programmes but we can't force students to attend if they don't want to, although we encourage those doing programmes in the Sciences to attend,” he added.
The MUET results will be released today . Candidates can collect result slips from their schools or institutions of higher learning from 10am. Private students will get theirs by post.

when i read bout this, my head went kababoom... english, the tool for higher education can be looked down like this.. wat the heck!! stpm leavers with the MUET results of band 1 n band 2 can enter public university????? (unbelievable...) wat happened to our nation nowadays? band 1 n band 2 result gainers are labelled as extremely limited user n limited user respectively for MUET test. the vocabs used in MUET wasn't too bombastic or rather too hard to be comprehend compared to certain vocabs used in the huge amount of websites available. yet band 1 n band 2 students can enter public university while the high achievers in MUET were rejected to be offered for courses. no wonder UM's std had dropped year by year after the research conducted by the TIMES as the students there were unable to communicate in english fluently. since MUET does not affects the intake of a student into university, y not the government ban it once n for all? there r certain fees for every paper tat had to be taken in public exams tat students r forced to pay in order to sit for the paper. n not every student can afford tat, me myself had to calculate each n every cent tat is my account certainly had the deepest feelings of those poor students. my dad used to say to me, "boy, u better study hard n get a scholarship to help out the family financial situation" n bcoz of this i had try my best to strive for the sky which turned out all the effort to b wasted as i din manage to get a scholarship n had to take up a loan from PTPTN for my higher education. the onli thing i dun understand is y the major race tat had loads of money kept in the bank r able to obtain a scholarship with a MUET test result of band 1 while the other 2 major races (hopefully u get the meaning) with excellent MUET results were deniened of the chance for scholarships or public university???
dun mentioned the students, even the grads from the teachers training center were reluctant to teach science n mathematics in english although the syllibus had been changed since 2 years ago. yet no actions had been taken against the teachers who had the slogan bahasa malaysia bahasa kita deeply rooted in their mind. haih...

Schoolgirls competing to be No.1 in sex game
Other News & Views
A GROUP of female students in a secondary school in Johor Baru are said to be competing among themselves to be the one with the highest number of one-night stands, Nanyang Siang Pau reported.
Each of the 10 students in the group, aged between 13 and 15 years old, would fork out between RM50 and RM100 to be in the game.
The student with the highest number of sex partners within a month would get a “reward”, which ranged from between RM500 and RM1,000, said the report.
Usually, a student would need between 13 and 15 sex partners to claim the “reward”.
It was learnt that the school had expelled some students involved in the activity, but the report added that it was still going on.
> China Press reported that although the Cabinet had decided to postpone a ruling on the minimum mesh size of fishing nets, some fishermen said they would still meet Agriculture and Agro-based Industries Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on Monday.
Kuala Sepetang was one of the coastal villages where fishermen decided to wait until the outcome of the meeting before deciding on their next course of action.

when i first read this news piece, i was thinking y my school does not has this type of schoolgirls around. =D imagine u as a guy n out of sudden ur schoolmates which happened to be the opposite sex come asking u for a 1 night stand... wat's ur reaction???this is the current situation tats happening in our country. who shuld b blamed? the education sys of malaysia? or the group of schoolgirls itself? as a malaysian, i'm seriously disappointed by the education sys tat had undergo some minor changes from time to time but it still revolves around the sys tat had been used for decades. educators seems to have no understanding about the acceptance of certain issues with an open mind. does it seems weird to discuss proper sex education when the student reaches his puberty age?
for ages, the topic of sex education covered is in biology classes, yet that still is a tip of an iceberg. wat about those students tat r taking art stream which do not offer biology as one of their study subs? doesnt they also have their own role to play if the government wish to stop all these negative news to spread on? this year is visit malaysia 2007 year, imagine those foreigners tat came for tours read bout it, wat do u think their reaction will be? i hope tat malaysians doesnt want to be a laughing stock in the eyes of the world, arent we?
english, an international language tat had been used for more than 100 years yet some public universities neglect the importance of the MUET test. in my opinion, MUET is much more easier than papers like TOEFL, etc yet students with a band one result can enter university malaya which once was the proud of the malaysia in education field, not mentioning the standards of it have dropped dramastically every year. wat happened??? can the malaysians use their own manglish when dealing with the international businesses like oil n gas production, automobile business, exporting n importing? if both the minister of higher education n the minister of education do not take immediate action, then the future will have no hope competing against other nations, e.g. our friendly neighbour-singapore. singaporeans had realised the importance of english n mandarin in the worldwide trend n they had pumped in efforts to master both but on the other hand, malaysians had not shown any solid efforts for tat purpose...

punctual?
"zhou, u r a very punctual person. ur performance had earned u a very respected reputation n ur loyalty towards the company i appreciate it a lot. but according to the data u'd provided, u came in n leave the company right on time everyday. however, how long it takes u to the machine for u to punch card? 5 mins? i think is 10 mins. therefore u reach ur desk after punching in at 8.10am n leaves ur desk at 4.50pm. everyday u wasted 20 mins juz for tat. U R FIRED!!!!"
well, in our society, some ppl seems to have the unpunctuality set in their mind. have u ever been to a dinner tat starts on time? especially for those wedding dinners. for chinese wedding dinner, the amount of ppl tat both the groom n the bride had invited was so huge tat we can't have a wedding dinner tat starts right on time. their mind set is somehow like this: "ah... wat for go so early? the dinner wont be starting so early, take ur time to dress up dear..." for wedding dinners, all the relatives had to be at there in order for the dinner to start. this is y i hate such formality dinners.
many of u might hang out around malls with frens for some time killing activities like watching a movie, goin arcade, window shopping or grab the oppurtunity of the sales to buy to ur heart content. for me, goin out with frens is fun n enjoyable but if the person i'd asked din appear on time i would go impatient n the worst case i would go mad. imagine if the bos asked him to b somewhere at sometime n this actually turned up... the guy would definitely leave a bad impression for his boss. time punctuality shuld b imposed to everyone as this is an important part of our life. hopefully all of u would b punctual in future....

back to uni mode
time really flies as i was killing my time with some uni mates accompany n most of all the sec school frens who turned up at ai ai's celebration. dun think i'd mentioned it in my earlier postings, but ai ai was seriously charming in her qi pao as usual. wished tat i could have the pics tat we took tat day but sadly it's juz a dream tat is far from coming true.
not forgetting the mangas tat i've read during this hols, it juz splendid. i'm not into those BL(boy love) or sissy storyline for sure but more to the detectives or those brain-training type, for exp: death note. this great manga needs alot of patience n skills as it craved out the main lead of the story, yagami light had accidentally get hold on the death note left on his school compound by shinigami n start demonstrating his view of justice. although this manga was juz merely 15 books in total for chinese version but it thrilled up my hols with analytical skills tat yagami light possessed.
now gonna start packing up for the return to the forsaken uni as i always procastinate in doin this. was planned to do it on monday but till now, 0.1% of progress also hvn achieved. haha

when reach the blood bank in pj assunta, my body was trembling as i was a first-timer for this blood-donating thing. uneasiness began to creep up but around 12.30pm after all were done, we let out a big relief as the thing was not as frightenin as we tot. haha... had lunch in the cafe there b4 we head back to our respective place.
after 30 mins of resting, a sudden call from kj woke me up asking for dota! dota! wat a word to wake me up... haha, headed straight to meet them although my left hand still feels a bit weird.
then right after the session ends, i went back home for some clothes changing b4 headed out again!
this time was to ai ai's 21st bday... knowing her for some 8 odd years (n living in the neighbourhood), her invitation can't be ignored..seriously enjoyed myself as had the oppurtunity to meet up with 9 other ai ai's 'VIP's a.k.a our schoolmates. some really were out of contact as seldom meet up although most of the 9 were living in the neighbourhood. foods, drinks n jokes were soon enough to max up my capacity as we were once enjoyed our companion during the school time but after secondary school graduation, the time for us to meet up was so so limited. therefore, the 11 of us had exchanged our stories n enjoyed the time(hopefully...)

harbor n rocks
harbor is a place where u can find the joy of those family members who longed for the return of the sailors who finally b by their side n the sorrow of those who lost their dearest to the raging sea. i liked sea since i was a small kid, harbor was the place i longed to be there as i liked to listen to the beating of the waves against the rocky wall, the chirps of the seagulls, the yelling of the sailors n captians, n not forgotten the beam of lights shone down by the lighthouse during the night.
however, this dream of mine had not come true as i was born in a city near the metropoliton. the onli place tat i can seek tranquilness is the forest research institute of malaysia a.k.a the FRIM. walking tru the tropical forest tat the institute preserved listening to the chirps of the birds soaring above my head n the rustling of dried leaves some how takes away my sorrowness n those problems tat had been troubling me.
nature is wat makes my life, i felt great living by nature rather in the city filled with hypocrites n pollution. wish tat i can go visit maldives, heard the nature ambience there is juz simply beautiful.

Greed, a normal word for all human. No one can deny himself to be not greedy at all, unless he is a super liar according to my friends. The emperors of the past all were overthrown for their greediness, ranging from the greed for wealth, health, power, women, or land. Me myself undeniable had my own greed, the greed of having more money to spend on the luxurious items tat now i can onli watch them with saliva drooling down to my feet. Over the years, I dreamt of having mercz as my own transport, banglos as my holiday villas, numerous of spare time gallery watch piece n etc but as I've grown up till now, not even a thing I can achieve n I've learnt tat greed n day-dreaming combination surely will make a person procastinate n lose out to the world. Imagine a country with those who always day-dream about the things they can do to fulfill their greed n do not put in effort, surely the country will b taken over by country who is strong enuf for the purpose. So don't b greedy d la, be real n start to work to achieve ur aim
